I am a painter and printmaker living and working in Sheffield, England. I also create digital work, and make books.
This site is divided thematically.
Much of my work looks at
imperfect analogue reproduction in the age of the instant, free,
"perfect" digital copy. It celebrates imperfection.
I often create series of paintings, to more
fully explore a theme or idea.
Two frequent motifs, particularly in
my earlier work.
Paintings and prints which don't entirely fit
with my main themes or motifs. Often these are stepping-stones to new
ideas.
